Credits

  • jQuery: If code were art, jQuery would be the most beautiful JavaScript painting in the world.
  • Movable Type: makes the whole blog thing work.
  • MT Plugin Directory: has a lot of excellent plugins and extensions for the Movable Type blogging system. I've used my share fair of them, and I'm grateful to all who have generously offered them up.
  • Arvind Satyanarayan is a Movable Type wizard! His plugins, hacks, and tips have greatly enhanced my site.
  • CaRP: gives away code for RSS news feeds. I'm using it to parse the feed for my "noteworthy articles" list, as well as some feeds on my resources pages.
  • amazon.com: gives me a wee little commission whenever someone uses one of my links to their site and buys something. As soon as I amass more than $10 in commissions—could take months, could take years—they send me a gift certificate so I can get a little something for myself.

Friends and Neighbors and Sites I Like to Visit

  • Eric Meyer: he wrote the book on CSS and has a site with excellent CSS resources.
  • Jeffrey Veen, a former classmate of mine who hit it big on the internet.
  • Solidus Design: a little web design agency run by Paul LaGrand, a neighbor and friend of mine, and located in the former Pillow Palace.
  • Conflict Lab: a family-run business headed by the father-in-law of my good friend Michael VanHouten, who also works there. See my blog entry about their Apple Design Award.
